HOW I WORK

With a background in story training, writing, creative facilitation, coaching & creative problem solving, I have a whole variety of tools & techniques to help you come up with great ideas, find the strongest stories and then shape them. I can also help you communicate your idea to everyone else involved in the production.

I specialise in practical, interactive sessions where we focus on the production you’re currently working on while also giving you techniques that will be useful from first storyline to final edit..

I’ve trained thousands of people in storytelling across all factual areas from formats, through blue chip series to independent documentaries which means I can bring skills from all types of programme making into my sessions.

I’ve spent over a decade working with some of the best teams in the industry & particularly enjoy working with teams with mixed levels of experience in order to help them work together as they craft stories an audience will love. I’ve worked with teams making award winning series for Netflix, the BBC, Apple TV, Discovery & independent cinema.

I’ve also consulted on a wide range of award winning programmes & have over 15 years experience in delving into how to bring a fantastic unscripted series to life.
